Tips:

  • A preset style can be applied to any document at any time without the need to make any changes to your text
  • Create different styles for different types of documents (e.g., essay, report, thesis, book, blog)
  • Changes to a preset style will be applied to every document using the style.
    • If the change is unique to a specific document, then save the style as a new custom style specifically for that document (i.e., with a custom name).
  • Styles can be added to public for anyone to use but they won't be able to edit it (see how)
  • Styles can be shared with colleagues (see how)
    • You can send someone a copy (a custom copy of their own), or jointly maintain the style (any changes made by anyone will be saved).
