Follow these steps
- Click "Assets" on the navigation panel
- Click "Presets" on the sidebar
- Double click on the style you wish to edit and the wizard will open
- Use the sidebar to navigate to the "Headings & Titles" element you wish to change
- Click on the heading series tab you wish to edit
- Click on specific heading level template you wish to edit, and the format menu will open
- Make formatting changes; as required
- Click "Save changes"
- These changes will be automatically applied to any document that uses this style guide
Types of headings
- Unnumbered headings and typically used in front matter and back matter, or informal documents such as a blog
- Numbered headings are used in the body of business reports and other formal documents such as a book
- Appendix headings have special numbering to indicate which "Appendix" the content belongs to. An "Appendix' is like chapter but it is providing additional, often detailed, information to the body of a report or book.
- Titles generally appear on the cover page only
Tips
- Generally, all paragraphs use the same font and font size
- You can also access the active style guide when you have a document open.
- Click the "Apps" icon to open the wizard.
