Override the reference templates with a specific style to match the rest of your document

Follow these steps

  1. Click "Assets" on the navigation panel
  2. Click "Presets" on the sidebar
  3. Click the "Smart Lists" on the side bar
  4. Click on the"References" tab you wish to edit
  5. Click on the template, and the format menu will open
  6. Make formatting changes; as required
  7. Click "Save changes"
  8. These changes will be automatically applied to any document that uses this style guide

Tips

  • Generally, all references lists use Paragraph-hanging indent and the same font family and font size as paragraph text
  • Reference temaples have a built-in format but this smart list allows you to override that format to whatever style you require
  • You can also access the active style guide when you have a document open.
  • Click the "Apps" icon to open the wizard
